It's Never too Early to get Experience in Engineering

City College Plymouth and Babcock at Devonport Royal Dockyard have partnered up to offer local primary schools, including Mount Tamar, a unique opportunity for students to visit the Digital Learning Quarter (at City College Plymouth) to undertake an exciting, hands-on STEM workshop.

The workshop, delivered by Babcock STEM ambassadors, covered aspects of engineering in relation to the work that takes place at Devonport Royal Dockyard offering students the opportunity to find out more about how STEM is key to the world we live in today.

Some of our students at Prospect and in Primary have had the fantastic opportunity to engage with a range of activities at a local Pizza Express, including preparing food to order and to a time limit.
