Our visiting Marjon students were asked three questions: what was your favourite part of your placement at Mount Tamar, what have you enjoyed the most and what have you learned? We then asked them to comment on the school environment and the lessons that they have seen.

From 30th November 2017 we have been an Operation Encompass School
Plymouth Construction training Group and Mount Tamar School are delighted to announce the launch of our formal partnership under the “Adopt a School” programme On Wednesday 27th September training group member companies joined the Head Teacher and senior staff members and students to launch our official partnership at Mount Tamar school’s brickwork workshop at Wolesley Trust in Plymouth.
Nearly £2 million will be spent expanding two Plymouth primary schools so they can take on more pupils to meet the demands of the city's growing population.

Mount Tamar Open Air School was opened in 1920.
